It’s been a wild ride lately, and we haven’t even rolled the first skate yet.
When I started Skate 66, I believed with everything in me that our town needed something new, something fun, and something mobile. A traveling roller rink that could pop up at parties, schools, and neighborhood spots. I could see it. I could feel it.
But building a dream from scratch takes more than passion. It takes funding, time, trial and error, and a whole lot of hustle.
💸 The Reality Check
So far, everything I’ve done — from building the first floor panels, setting up the website, registering the business, and even repairing my truck — has come straight out of my own pocket. There’s no big investor behind this. Just me, a vision, and a community I believe in.
Loans? Denied.
Income? Gone.
Support? Trickle, not flow. At least for now.
💥 Here’s Where You Come In
If you believe in this vision, and you think our town deserves a place to roll, connect, laugh, and move, I need your help.
👉 Support the Skate 66 GoFundMe
Whether it’s $5, $50, or just a share, it helps. Truly.
I’ve also launched a Sponsorship Program for local businesses. Every donation goes directly to building the floor, securing the trailer, and getting the gear needed to bring this to life.
🛼 From Dirt to Disco
That’s the motto right now. It may still be rough ground under my feet, but I’m pushing forward. Board by board, screw by screw, until we’re rolling.
Thanks for reading. Thanks for believing. Let’s build something amazing together.
